School dances and proms are always fun events to bring the photo booth too. The kids are always creative and very enthusiastic to take photos in the photo booth. When the photo booth is rented for a dance or a prom, the line never seems to dwindle and the prints make for really wonderful souvenirs! I wish we had a photo booth at my prom! It also helped that this prom was at the Nasher Museum in Durham, part of Duke, an incredible venue to have events!

I was excited about not only being the Bar Mitzvah photographer for Alex but also bringing The Happy Smile Photo Booth to the party as well! This was my second time bringing the photo booth to the Capital City Club in Downtown Raleigh, for a party. A photo booth rental is a great idea for all kinds of parties and events, but renting photo booths at mitzvahs is always a big hit. We also brought some props for the kids to use in the photo booth, but with their creativity, they didn’t really need them to have a great time taking photos in the photo booth. The second Happy Smile Photo Booth rental of the weekend was for a high school senior prom at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh. While the previous photo booth rental at NCSU had a natural background, since I was the formal prom photographer as well, I set up the photo booth using the same backdrop the prom committee picked for formals. Since the Happy Smile Photo Booth is open, the backdrop choices are just about limitless!

Last weekend was a busy one for the Happy Smile Photo Booth! There were two bookings to rent the photo booth in Raleigh. First, Friday night at North Carolina State University, there was an event called Origami Wishes raising money for Japan. The weather on Friday in Raleigh was so beautiful, so I set up the photo booth outside with North Carolina State University’s Court of Carolina as the backdrop. Being able to use natural backdrops is one of the advantages of the open style Happy Smile Photo Booth!
