B’Nai Mitzvah Photo Booth in Raleigh

The theme for this B’Nai Mitzvah (two brothers having a Bar Mitzvah on the same day) was James Bond Gold Finger meets Austin Powers Gold Member, so we got to rock this awesome gold background for the photo booth! Like the previous photo booth rentals at The Raleigh Renaissance Hotel in North Hills, the photo booth was a big hit! Wedding Photo Booth at O’Henry Hotel in Greensboro

Like the last wedding, the guests at Tiffany and David’s wedding had a blast in the photo booth! Living in Cary, this was the first time I had the chance to visit the O’Henry Hotel in Greensboro and was very happy to bring the photo booth to Greensboro for the wedding! While the Happy Smile Photo Booth can take photos in color or black and white, it was requested by the bride and groom that all photo booth photos for the wedding were in black and white, which turned out fantastic! Green Screen Photo Booth Rental in Raleigh | Ian’s Bar Mitzvah

The Happy Smile Photo Booth is a booth of many talents! Of course it can take photos and print photo strips, but also the photo booth can capture video messages and even do green screen photography! At this Bar Mitzvah in Raleigh, at the RDU General Aviation Terminal, we used a photo of Downtown LA as the backdrop for the green screen photo booth. Ian is a great hockey player, and while Stormy visited the photo booth not too long ago, this time two of the girls from the storm squad stopped by to say Mazel Tov to Ian! When my wife and I got married, we thought having the photo booth to provide unique souvenirs for guests and for us, by way of a sign in book, was the best decision we made. The photo booth was certainly a hit at Jennifer and Jeremy’s wedding at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary and I know they will be loving their photo guest book for years to come. In my opinion, the photo guest book is the best part of having a photo booth at your wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, or other event. For reasons that can’t exactly be explained, once your guests are in the photo booth, the happy and smiles immediately start to flow and you will come away with creative and fun photos of your guests! There are some things that just go perfectly together. Costume parties and photo booths are certainly one of them! While the Happy Smile Photo Booth offers our own props for your photo taking pleasure, when you have a costume party, they really aren’t necessary! This costume party was at one of my favorite places in Raleigh to get hamburgers, Chow, and was for two girls turning 4 so there were some height challenges to accomplish with the photo booth, everything turned out fine! Thinking about having a photo booth at your Halloween Party? Cary Photo Booth Rental | Prom at Nasher Museum

School dances and proms are always fun events to bring the photo booth too. The kids are always creative and very enthusiastic to take photos in the photo booth. When the photo booth is rented for a dance or a prom, the line never seems to dwindle and the prints make for really wonderful souvenirs! I wish we had a photo booth at my prom! It also helped that this prom was at the Nasher Museum in Durham, part of Duke, an incredible venue to have events!

Durham Photo Booth Rental | Great Strides for CFF

I love using photography or my photo booth to help others. Great Strides is a walk and fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a foundation that I have worked with a few times already. From the CFF website:

Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event. Tens of thousands of co-workers, friends and family come together each year as one community for one cause…to help find a cure for CF. In 2011, nearly $38 million was raised to support vital CF programs.

While the last celebrity visit in the photo booth was just a cut out, this time we had a Duke basketball player stop by in the photo booth as well as Stormy from the Storm Quad of the Carolina Hurricanes!

Cary Photo Booth Rental | Middle School Dance

The Happy Smile Photo Booth is no stranger to proms, but this was the first middle school dance that photo booth was rented for. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but what I got was by far the busiest night at the Happy Smile Photo Booth. At the middle school dance in Cary, there was a line for the photo booth all night long! For more than 4 hours, the middle school kids were taking lot’s of photos with their friends in the photo booth and of course they were having a great time! Since the photo booth was set up outside, we were very lucky to have perfect weather in Cary and close to Raleigh that night!

The Happy Smile Photo Booth was bid on a won for this engagement party in Raleigh through an auction at Ravenscroft in Raleigh. This was an intimate party at a beautiful home in Raleigh, but that didn’t keep the happy and the smiles coming all night long! There was even a surprise celebrity appearance in the photo booth at this party!

In addition to being the photographer for Denna’s Bat Mitzvah, Evan Pike Photography was also renting out our Happy Smile Photo Booth for the party in raleigh! The Bat Mitzvah party was at one of my favorite venues, the Raleigh Renaissance Hotel at North Hills. I’ve photographed, rented my photo booth and attended quite a few events at the Renaissance Hotel in Raleigh!
